Holds together well because the hair is already tangled in knots. It takes little time to sew but looks messy. The heart shape is irrelevant the ball just looked like a heart... this technique keeps some of the original form of the hair and still maintains an element of grotesqueness
of sorts, i copied the lace pattern on the bottom of the petticoat i was wearing and tried to sew hair in to it. It looks quite nice from the back the way the hair forms a sort of bowl shape around the sewn edges. I would like to get lace and sew the hair back in to it as another experiment because trying to cut patterns out of material seems pointless...

and WHAT a button! covered in human hair no less, well i never! must have taken her hours upon hours to make that masterful work with no gaps around the edges and a PURPOSE. I can see the meaning in it already, i bet she's going to make sets of them, entire suits even. Mundane is the very last word that comes to mind when this button is placed in front of me, oh the fun i am having! Exclaimed everyone excitedly

I'm really liking your photographing of these objects.. since they're so small you've got the macro thing down, and it works! The tiny pieces of hair somehow look big and 'ropey'
